"Eddie's insider" about The Plan shows what his bsg actors/actresses companions think about him as a Director, and as a human being; Rick Worthy talking about the challenge Eddie puts him in during the movie..I guess he doesn't refer to THAT challenge lol. And I have to say it's not the last of Adama we see on the screen :D Check the rest below
It's been a few days since my "last" serious post. I've been the past week to London with a few friends and, as always, I had a great time. We were lucky and only got some rain one day but we were inside London Excel. There are no words to describe what the organization did: 15min with Kandyse Mcclure talking. I have to admit she is not Ron D.Moore but, at least, she deserves 30min, don't you think??
We got to see new "V" series premiere (almost as much time as Kandyse was talking) and considering EJO was not there it was like he was there, because the first question was something like "How would you describe EJO on set?" But the rest were all about her an her character. We listened to Ronny's Cox new CD (country) and not bad. I didnt know previous to London Expo that he was going to give a mini-concert (45min) , expected Q&A. London Expo was nothing like Dragon*Con. In Atlanta there was people in costumes but not as much as here, and at least you could recognize most of them. Here i was lucky to recognize a few lol. I present you the guys I found there that I knew already
First it was Java and Adobe Flash Player conspiring. Now my HDD fills in 7gb in less than 24h (and i didn't "borrow" anything from the internet in that time)...and my antivirus says it's clean lol. Don't use Norton. So I'm gonna be formatting (VIVA LA FIESTA) this weekend. Ouch. I have so many stuff it's gonna be a nightmare :(. Why don't I learn from my error and make a security copy?? I always say I'm gonna do it and never find and never find the time.....Has anyone tried Win Seven?
No useis Norton.
(Added Part 3)
So thanks to

firstlady1408who posted the first cut from this video, I went directly to the official website and found the original full videos. Here you have them (still part 3 not posted at the original source). Have fun :)

And tomorrow come my second mini-holidays this year. Destination: London. A friend of mine went on sunday (she still is there) and sent me an SMS saying: It's cold and I don't like the food. Lol. Don't feel offenderd, my british friends. I guess it's too different from the mediterranean food. I'll have the chance to try it tomorrow and compare. But i don´t need another Fritanga food court (what is fritanga?), so I hope she only had a bad day or chose the wrong restaurant. We will be visiting London Expo (Ron D Moore canceled......oooooooh) so it won't be anything like DragonCon. But it will be fun...and we will have time for some tourism
Anything more from today??? Hmmmm. Tickets for BasauriCon went on sale. Wooohooooo. VIP tickets sold out so it was a good day :). And I can't believe it's still 3 months away. What am I gonna do these 3 months?? Still considering Starfury :p. It would be good to make me forget for 3 days how long we are from February hehe.
And while I was writing this post some news about Fedcon and it's guest for next year went online. But what I'm interested are last FedCon's DVD hehe. I guess you know who was there: Edward James Olmos, Michael Hogan (and Richard Hatch, but I don't care that much about him...sorry Richard, but you are nothing like EJO or Michael Hogan), among other guests. I have to get my hand on one of those dvd's....
So I'm specially happy tonight. EJO said some interesting things fans had been waiting to read for some time, at least me hehe
( Some Q&A to begin with )( EJO chat under the cut )
So I was checking some websites and found out Eddie's official website has been changed (and after checking i'd say it's still being upgraded). More content. I like it. Olmos Productions: the family is making collaborations too (some pictures from last free screening of The Plan by Michael D.Olmos). I prefer this presentation. Actually more pictures...Totally different look. Check it here
New Community for fans. YAY!! Planning on going?? What are you waiting for??

They couldn't even prevent to have 43secs from this song to be leaked to the internet.
We were walking from Colon Square to Cibeles Square and we were not the only ones. Lot of people, some oldest than the others (from 1-2years old to.....a lot (:p), were walking in the same direction. Objective: Support Madrid2016. Everyone getting a banner with one of the fours colors representing our logo. In the meantime El pulpo provided the entertainment. The Mayor was there, and some of the authorities too, like anyone else enjoying the moment.
And the rain made its appearance. But no one moved. For 15-20minutes it was raining, but it was not cold and most people didn't have umbrella either. We didn't move from our positions :)
The proof we were there (if you can see me...or trust my word) lol
I was playing with a friend a game he invited me to play, and what a surprise when I found in a facebook advertisement there's a scifi convention in Madrid I didn't know about lol. It's called CIFIMAD, and this year they have two star trek actors invited. You can check it here. I'll have to check it next year ;). It's scifi in general: BSG, stargate, star trek, babylon 5.....Maybe next year they'll have someone I'm interested in seeing, because this year they have two star trek actors I'm not really eager to meet.
Yesterday my brother came to visit and I showed him my dragoncon adventures....He thought I was going to US for a professional congress rofl. He was surprised that I went to DragonCon, to say the least. Actually, I think he thinks I'm a freak :p
And tomorrow....Madrid2016 popular meeting in Cibeles!!! :)))

I have a hunch!!
Tengo una corazonada
To show my support Ill be going on
to a popular meeting at
So while watching how our boys are doing in the Davis Cup competition, i have time during the break to read latest Kate's post in her official website.
Kate Mulgrew: I don’t even know what Twitter is. Kate, Kate. A scientific captain can't say that!! She obviouly doesn't surf a lot hehe.
Kate Mulgrew: I can do a play. Kathleen Turner and I are talking about doing something together. She wants to direct me in a piece. It’s a one woman piece, and it’s called “Le Voix Humaine”, “The Human Voice”, by Jean Cocteau. And it’s one woman on the phone saying good-bye to her lover for the last time. She’s desperate not to say good-bye, but he’s done – he’s going to marry someone else. It’s about sixty minutes. And she’s just slowly bleeding to death. But Kathleen said to me two weeks ago when we were having a drink, she said, “I’ll direct it and you’ll act.” I said, “We can do this.” I'd love to see that play. Shame it'd be in NY. They should do a Tour in Europe :P
Check the interview, made during Dragon*Con, here
Updated 19th September (parade)
I'll be posting here all I could film at the convention. There's lot of material from different panels, not only bsg so related, so it can take 2-3 days to have them prepared and uploaded. I'll be posting when I'm done with these (I know you are impatient to watch them all), some thoughts about the bsg panels and our Dragon Con experience (and my 1st time ever Convention experience ever). So here I bring you the first panel I worked on (not necesseraly the first panel in order during the convention)

So I woke up this morning with this sad news.Cancer. I'me begining to really hate that word. It's becoming one of the most common diseases of our time. Pancreas cancer is one of the worst of all.
Rest in peace
Sunday was kind of a mess at the begining. Lourdes and Olga wanted to watch the Smallville panel so they left early in the morning. On the other hand
abaut_time,
eristi and
yokana_yanovick wanted to see Kevin Grazier at the BSG science panel at 10am, and finally I wanted to go to Kate Mulgrew's panel that was at 11.30am. Don't think i stayed in bed because mine was the latest in the morning.
eristi,
abaut_time and
yokana_yanovick were lol.
So I left them to go to the Shearton Grand Ballroom (where Mary and Michael panel was the first day) and waited in queue for 2 hours almost. The waiting was beneficial because I got a seat in the 2nd row just almost in fron of Kate, who willingly didn't sit down (and I could fill the whole panel :p). The panel was great. Kate was fabulous, really funny.
I was lucky to see in Atlanta Mary's panels but due to schedule ("·$/=·!) i missed Kate's Mulgrew first panel, so i found this piece of her talking about Mary McDonnell. Hope to find more about the whole panel.
So
yokana_yanovickhas just reminded with this
So, I can tell you what we did after lunch. I'm blank about what we did in the morning lol. But eventually it will come to mind. Bsg panel began at 5.30pm, but before that we had the Stargate multiverse panel at 4pm, same hotel: Marriot Marquis. It was our Center of Operations, because most of the important panels took place there, in the Atrium Ballroom. We will never forget that name :)
Lourdes, Olga and I went to the Stargate panel and I, finally, was able to see Joe Flanigan (woohoooooo). Rachel Lutrell got lost because nobody went to acompany her to the Marriot so she arrived late. Joe Flanigan had to call her to ckeck were she was hahaha. After a few minutes she could joing the rest of the cast. Actually, there wasn't many stargate related questions, but the panel was so much fun....
To the question which were the motives why you decided to be an actor, Jason Momoa said "money and women", but Joe Flanigan said "the other way around". Reminds me that in the stargate multiverse panel with Ben Browder the previous day, a question similar was formulated but the guy asking said " so apart from glamour and money....why did you choose to be an actor?" or something like that and Ben Browder was drinking water. He was unable to swallow it and instead he spilled all of it around when listening to word MONEY. It was a totally natural reaction and we couldn't stop laughing....just imagine the scene ;)
Gary Jones, another surprise. He is just as funny as Paul McGillion. To the question what were the thing you would have love your character to be able to do on set? He was obsessed with his character being able to jump through the gate, not just see him on the other side but actually walking through it
And I can tell you, this panel was in the Hyatt and was the only ballroom we didn't feel cold at. YAY! The only one lol. I don't know if the aire conditioning was broken or what but the temperature was ok....with a sweater
Joe Flanigan not letting Rachel Lutrell sit down because he moved to whatever chair she was going to sit on was funny. It was like the John Sheppard we knew from SGA....sometimes like a child hehe
Rachel Lutrell sang a song....I knew she had skills but WoW. She was indredible. Check in my videos Part 3 first minute or so. I'd love to have seen Rachel's son face when she was in prothetics, because she says he started laughing. What comes to mind is those funny viodeos of babies laughing around the internet. Can you imagine??
Paul McGillion asked a question the day before and the winner got a gift from him. He was so CUTE! The gift was his copy of latest episode from SGA signed, he was going to make it possible in DragonCon, for all the stargate cast attending the convention...and he did it. Reading the script Gary Jones remembered he was in and went to check his characters lines and read them...... Joe Flanigan was a bit...how would you say it in english (in spanish Emapanado)...the closer I can say is lost, confused, distracted lol. But the day after Jason was the one distracted. That's another entry ;).
As you can see the Stargate panel was really fun to attend to. I can't imagine how funnier it could have been with David Hewlett in it too :D
So when it finished we went "running" almost to the Marriot because there was taking place the BSG panel and
eristi,
abaut_time and
yokana_yanovick were already waiting in the line to get a good sit in the first rows if possible
Each day passing by the applauses to Mary Mcdonnell got in creasing. But I have to say that the last day Michael Hogan was in he got a good one. So it seems that they both got, specially Michael Hogan, news fans to their "unofficial" fan clubs (oooooooooook, I confess I'm one of the new additions lol
abaut_time, don't worry, he is STILL yours lmao just kidding)
To the first question to Mary, the person asking it said refering to Daybreak "I still cried". I can tell you. That makes the two of us....and I know at least another person who does. Raise your hand if you read this!!! And it doesn't surprise me Eddie was crying during filming the scene and they had to cut and repeat it more than once. For what I've heard he is a sensitive person...another reason to love that man. A man who is not afraid to show his emotions!...and to cry! (ok,
bledina75, I know you are sensitive too, in case you're reading this). You can correct me if I'm wrong and I'm saying things not confirmed in forums or anywhere else :)
The question to Alessandro about if he did miss any scene that was cut out of the show, Kate Vernon said "his leg". Gary jones had an obsession with the stargate, well, Alessandro had one with his leg. And he repeated a lot of times the missing leg and how grateful he was to recover it after he was killed in the show...poor guy. That and being gay in the show was too much for him
The poisoning husband. I guess you know who I'm talking about. Helo.....WRONG. What "poisoning husband" do you know in BSG? His relationship with Caprica Six. All I can say the really "had fun" (check this if you still don't know what "have fun" means :P)
Loved the question to Mary "if Laura Roslin would run to the presidency in 2012 would you vote for her?" That was a great copliment I think. Mary said there were more experinced women for the position and probably she is right, because we have to erember that Laura was 43rd in the line to become president if anything happend to the 42 people before her ;)
Mary confirmed she will be appearing in more The Closer episodes as she was studying in her hotel room the script for the next episode they were going to film this week. So for the Mary fans...GOOD NEWS. I have to agree with her about the women of BSG being isolated from each other. Oh, God. I'd have loved more Kara-Roslin or, as kate says, Ellen hanging out with Laura
The bathtub..What would have Anders asked Starbuck..."a towel".
eristi, would you have given him the towel??
abaut_time,
yokana_yanovick, you can answer too ;)
You know in class, University, Hospitals...when you see those NO MOBILE signs on the walls?? Well, it should be applied to convention guests (or not because it's so much fun when they have to answer, or they call someone like Michael and Mary did with EJO). So let's vote. Celullars on no celullars on for the guests???
The best lines of everyone in the cast. True, Michael Hogan has some cool ones. Kara has some too. Adama has some as well. FRAK, everyone has a few in this show. But Trucco could remember any of his lines!! "I'll see you on the other side". Yes, he has!! :) And you can't tell me Aaron Douglas wasn't fantastic when he was asked what moment do you really enjoyed from season 4.5...killing Tory with my bare hands. The chief rocks!
Again Kate Vernon refering to "her man" in the fiction "having fun" with Caprica Six. We are discovering panel through panel every character's obsessions...that makes them more humans. If we were to be psycoanalized we would probably find most of us have some degree of obsession over something....see, something you probably hadn't thought before reading this post :p. In the end she didn't know what was the question!! Another one distracted. But Mary wasn't distracted at all and she started giggles. Oh, man. When I see that woman begining to giggle i feel panick. You know why. EJO said it in another convention. If she starts, they can't work because she can't stopped herself!!
So after two wonderful panels and a lot of hours of waiting in queue it was time for visiting Dealers and getting soe autographs. I personally I'm waiting for Mary and Eddie to come to Spain so I didn't have Mary's.
That night was the Colonial Fleet Party and all the cast made an appeareance. After that the only staying a bit were Michael Hogan (that man loves party), Michael Trucco (I don't know if he loved party but we love that he stayed a bit there hehe), Richard Hatch (my thought is he likes being around in case someone says some compliments to him lol) and Alessandro. All men! Does it mean anything?? Well,
yokana_yanovick had her oportunity to have a picture taken with Hartch.....not Michael Trucco though. And with Hogan.....well, it was almost impossible to reach him. He was surrounded on all flanks hehe
I know...Too much posted. But it was fun to write and couldn't help it. I had some things to comment. SO SAY WE ALL! (just in case you haven't noticed yet, all bsg cast appearances end this way.....althouth the inventor, EJO, was not there to say it, his XO was)
Livejournal cut is crap and doesn't work. Sorry for the long post in your friends list :S
eristifound it so all the credit to her. It was fantastic. I even like the music hehehe. They put it at DragonCon TV and every time people were in silence looking at it. Awesome
